Howrah Central Supravat is a duly registered voluntary organization engaged in social development and welfare activities. The organization is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1961 (Government of West Bengal) and operates in compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. It is registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) and is recognized by the Income Tax Department with tax exemptions under Sections 12AA and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
The term “Supravat”, meaning “Good Morning to All”, symbolizes a positive beginning and collective progress. The organization’s guiding principle is reflected in its belief:

Established in 2006, Howrah Central Supravat was formed with the objective of addressing the needs of socially and economically disadvantaged communities. The organization follows a non-discriminatory approach, delivering its interventions strictly on the basis of need, without distinction of caste, creed, religion, or gender.
